Tae Heckard Ends Domestic Partnership with....Another Woman?!

Sheesh...

Well, along with all the craziness of spectators stating their opinions about Tae Heckard (ex-beau of Nelly) and Brandon Jennings (Point Guard of Detroit Pistons AND former longtime beau of actress/singer, Teyana Taylor), it seems as if they may be moving towards a more serious side of life as a couple.

Lashontae Heckard, ex-video vixen and star in show, "The Game" has filed for an end to her domestic partnership with a woman named Monique Blanton - who she partnered with back in 2008.

In legal notes, Tae was noted to say that she split with Blanton for "irreconcilable differences" in 2011.

This would free her up to legally become married now, wouldn't it?

And all this time I thought the "Twitter wives" she claimed were just her buddies ((snort laughs)). Either way, her relationship with Jennings seems to be moving at lightning speed.

Nelly Gives Sound Relationship Advice. After Tip Drill. I'm As Shocked As You Are.

Nelly had a lot of valuable things to say to VladTV about why a marriage in the entertainment industry is a "different animal", where the situations should not be measured through a normal everyday person perspective.

Honestly, I can feel his position 100%.  He talked about how the dynamic of the entertainment industry makes it difficult to really connect with a mate because of constant distance.

Then he says, he knows he'll be ready for marriage when there's no question of anything - he will just know.

And this is just my opinion kids. If more of these women would hold their kitty dumplings to a higher standard, it would force men to value it more and settle down.  Good women have to pay for you heaux and even though the industry has always been full of groupie love, the regular folk are imitating that life at an epidemic rate.

Sexual freedom is one thing, but the majority of women want love.  And I'm sorry, Kanye might wife the one who slept with the homies, but your everyday man who would still put a ring on it wants a woman who he knows holds herself to a higher standard.

LOVE VIOLATIONS: Are Men and Women Equal on This???

So I got a reply from @TeamLashontae on Twitter about what I said in my blog when it comes to the whole Love Triangle, Square, situation where Tae is now dating Teyana Taylor's ex-fiancee.

I was asked if I would judge the situation the same way if it were between two guys and one girl?
I felt like that was a fair question but the thing is, in society black women have always been judged harshly.  I'll illustrate an example:

Men often complain about women who will take free dinners, outings, etc. in spite of having no romantic interest.   Messed up right?  The woman is blamed in society for this.

Then, you have a woman who is constantly being dogged out by a man and treated poorly that she continues to invest time and energy into.  She is also blamed for this because she should set her bar higher and demand better behavior, or move on.

BOTH scenarios are dealing with someone being taken advantage of but somehow, the emphasis of the blame is placed more on the woman in both situations.  The double-standard out here in these streets is REAL.

Personally, I believe BOTH sexes should be responsible for making a conscious judgment of who gets their time and effort based on actions.  If someone isn't reciprocating behavior you feel you are showing them, then it's time to let it go or just do you and stop complaining.

So back to the question I got about whether I would look at the situation differently, I have to say I WOULD.  But not on purpose.  I think I'm conditioned to believe that men get away with doing more things like this (especially in Hollywood, the "industry", whatever you want to call it). It doesn't make it any less messed up though.

Point blank, most people do things not considering how they would feel if it was done to them. On the outside looking in, it definitely seems that way.  Lashontae is gorgeous so I can imagine that she deals with her selection of many approaching her and with that daily struggle, being moral about things probably gets lost in the shuffle of living her life.

Feel free to add/subtract to what I'm saying though.  Any thoughts on this?

What The Hell Future?!

Skip to 5:15 in the video ---

Now, I'm certainly not trying to make something out of nothing, but damn it man.  Wendy Williams asks Future about Ciara and why he chose to marry her since so many people in the present generation don't really believe in marriage as much anymore.

I feel like his answer was almost saying, well...I'd rather not sleep with all these slut buckets out here so let me just tie myself down to focus better on the career.  I just wanted to hear him saying something about what he actually FELT for her.

Am I being too sensitive about this?  I'm being too much of a chick right now huh?

My hopeless romantic side definitely needs some adjusting to some of the things I see nowadays that's for damn sure. (LOL)

The Quickest Way To Get Over a Man is to Get Under A New One, if You're Evelyn

How long is a sufficient time to bounce back from a failed relationship?  Can healthy relationships really happen while a person is in the rebound phase?

This question came up from the whole Evelyn Lozada new baby/new fiancee' news.  The former basketball, then football, and now baseball "wife" just gave birth to a baby boy with LA Dodgers baseball star Carl Crawford and her older daughter Shaniece by her side.

Back when she was six months preggo, there was speculation of her relationship with Crawford when a Twitter conversation between Ochocinco and a fan surfaced where the fan said he saw Evelyn with Crawford at his job.

The allegations of their relationship were denied until the last trimester of her pregnancy.  Now with the birth of their new son, I was curious of whether the old saying of "the quickest way to get over a man is to get under a new one" is a truthful rule of thumb.  It's usually a Hollywood norm to see people bounce from relationships, but given the recent controversy of Evelyn and Chad's violent episodes, I ask again is it okay to move on with someone else so soon after a split, let alone conceive a child?

I feel like Evelyn is in marriage/family mode and realizes her biological clock is ticking.  She might have honestly wanted to hurry up and take advantage of the eggs that are still functioning.

Either way, she's a gorgeous MILF.  Wishing her all the best.

Kanye Said Kimmy's BLOW SKILLS Certified Her As Wife Material

I think it's the big one Elizabeth.  And if you don't know that reference, I'm judging your whole life.

Kanye flows about the first time he realized Kim could be his future wife -- saying, "I impregnated your mouth, girl, oooh ... that's when I knew you could be my spouse, girl."

I'm sure her combo of A-lister, paparazzi, fashionista, everybody is tuning into this girl appeal had something to do with her being wifey material as well but DAMNNNNNNNN 'Ye!  This is where we are in 2014 where the hubbys to be can't even keep it classy about their own women?

The evolution of where we have come is so crazy to me.  Love songs.  Actual love songs used to be sang where the woman had value beyond her head game.  Now it's just...

I don't even know what the hell it is.  I'm trying to take it all in and still have faith in society where there can still be some level of decorum or class.  Even if it is about a woman whose claim to fame came from a sex tape.

How is it that Kanye touches me in certain philosophical ways at times where he's truly in touch with how jacked up society is, but then he jumps right into the circus he's complained about?

Am I being too sensitive right now?  I know, I'm just beating a buried horse.  That damn horse was dead a long time ago.  My bad you guys.

Oh LAWD...Drake and RiRi are Official Now?! (Where's Sweet Brown At)

TMZ is reporting that the delicate one (Mr. Aubrey) and Ms. Unapologetic are now making things official.  They have gone from the dating phase to actually working on a committed relationship. Sources close to both of them are saying that Rihanna and Drake have been growing closer and closer (she has spent every night with him while Drake has been touring in Europe).

RiRi is said to have mentioned that Drake has treated her the best of anyone she has been with. I defnitely don't think that should be any basis for choosing a mate but who the hell am I?!

I do believe sometimes these things just "happen" though.  If they make each other happy though, WHY NOT?!  Eff what the public thinks.  There will be just as many naysayers as people cheering them on.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall of Chris Brown's room to take in his reaction.  But hey, maybe he doesn't give a damn.  (He cares, they all do.)

He Told Shakira "NO MORE MEN"...(Was He Wrong?)

On Billboard magazine’s new cover story, Shakira has admitted that her boyfriend Gerard Pique doesn’t allow her to make music videos with men anymore.
“He’s very territorial, and since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women,” the 37-year-old singer says in Billboard’s March 2014 issue. ”It’s more than implied in our relationship that I can’t do videos like I used to."
So my question would be is this a healthy situation?  (Okay, I'll answer this one)  I believe it most certainly IS.  I am a firm believer that any man who says he's comfortable with his woman being all cozy with another dude (paycheck involved or not) is either not truly into this woman or he's into another woman (literally).
I know I would want my man to check me on things that make him feel like I have the potential to cross his line of comfort.  Of course, some things I believe we should already know - but forget that "saving face game", "I'm not insecure BS".  Most of us are not into sharing a person who we have claimed as ours, and I believe men are naturally territorial unless there's a disconnect.
Gentleman, please correct me if I'm mistaken though. (smiles)
